Scottseed sprouted in 1970 as a grower-dealer for alfalfa seed, selling to local growers. Soon, opportunities arose to acquire seed from major seed suppliers-both domestic and international. Today, Scottseed Inc. sells vegetable seed in the entire northwestern United States and Western Canada while drawing from worldwide sources. Scottseed's growth came about because of trusting relationships with both customers and suppliers. That trust continues today.
